A new project Fireglow, also by the producer Fred Vandermast, is going to be launched early March. Their first release will be It’s a heartache, a dance-cover of the Bonnie Tyler hit.

Producer Fred Vandermast is busy readying new songs for Oxyd. One of them is called … and will most probably be released in April 2003. Sorry you’ll have to wait a bit longer for the title 😉

Last weekend [08-02-03] there was a meeting with everyone at the record-company, involved with the production of Jessy‘s singles.

At this meeting there was a decision NOT to make Enchanted the second single to be released half february in Belgium, nor anywhere else. Enchanted however will be released on a few compilation cd’s and offcourse on the forth-coming album.

Reason for this decision is because the promotion of Look @ me now in the Netherlands now, and the U.K. later, will be major! A good promotion of Enchanted in Belgium is not possible at the same time.

Meanwhile the french version of Look @ me now, Regardez-moi will be released in the french region of Belgium and France

At this point the crew is working hard on a new single to be released [April?] nation-wide.

Our question: Why not release Enchanted in April? Maybe they’ve already heard the new single and it’s a bomb? Time will tell 🙂

You could read the review of the first Versuz compilation CD on dancevibes not long ago, but now a second Versuz compilation is already on the horizon. It will once again be a double cd with CD1 unmixed tracks and CD2 will be a mixed one presenting the Versuz club vibes on Saturday. Like last compilation Dave Lambert will be compiling and mixing the second cd. Bart Maes will compile CD1.

February 14th is Valentine’s Day, but that night a much more interesting event will take place: Leuven (Belgium) will host a new ‘di.nasty’ party. The title ‘The bitch phenomena’ might give some indication of what to expect. This will not be commercial dance but great beats mixed together by new and upcoming dj’s as well as some well-known names.

So if you are in the neighbourhood, you should check it out. di.nasty, the bitch phenomena, will take place at ‘Lido’ (Bogaardenstraat 29, Leuven).

While Kira – I’ll be your angel will be released in the UK on February 17th 2003, the Belgian release will happen on February 22nd. Nu life/BMG UK will ship 35.000 copies to the retailers in it’s first week.
