Magic Fly will be the first Minimalistix single taken from the debut album Elements. The album Elements has only been released in Belgium for now, but other countries will soon follow. Magic Fly has been internationally signed in the following countries: UK (Ministry Of Sound), USA (Ultra records; the biggest independent with a marketshare of 12.5%), Germany (Superstar records), Spain (Valé records), Canada (SPG), Australia (Universal), Japan (Avex) and Scandinavia (Ministry Of Sound).

In other news, an album called Belgian Trance was released in Japan by Minimalistix DJ Dave Lambert. This album is a mixed compilation album representing the Belgian sound 🙂

Jessy, known as the former lead singer of the Mackenzie feat. Jessy is apparently starting an international career. Ministry Of Sound has signed the Look @ Me Now in the following countries: UK, Australia, Scandinavia and Germany. Ultra Records signed this single for the USA.

International release dates are still to be decided.

The next Jessy single will be called Enchanted and the release date is set at November 28th 2002.

I ll be Your Angel has been signed worldwide by NuLife (except for the Benelux, Mostiko). The UK release is planned for 16 December 2002. In Belgium the vinyl release is planned for end of this year and the release of the single for January.

I ll Be Your Angel will come with a whole bunch of remixes from e.g. Minimalistix, Sinesweeper vs. Filterheadz,…and a lot of others.

The exact date of release is not set yet, but by Christmas you may expect it for sure on the radio!

Internationally Hope and Wait is going to be released soon. For the UK the release is planned for 28 October 2002 and for Germany 11 November 2002 (release via BMG).

Versuz is Belgium’s largest purpose built venue, boasting a maximum capacity of 6000 people. Versuz opened in April 2002 and put Belgium on the map for a more ‘disco-shaped’ reason.

On Saturday nights, the resident DJ’s Phil, Dave Lambert (Minimalistix) and Bart Maes pump the crowd full of Club, Trance, Tribal and Progressive House sounds with Groovy tunes thrown in for good measure.

The monday nights with the resident DJ Laurent brings you the crème de la crème of Happy Grooves, Top 50 and ‘Oldies but Goodies.

The mainroom with a capacity of 4500 is not the only room and sound that Versuz has to offer. In the R versuz B lounge it brings the best what R’N’B has to offer and in Café Rouge you’ll hear great party anthems and 80’s styled music.

The first Versuz compilation is a double CD. Disc One is a Track by Track selection, and Disc Two is a Mixed CD by the resident Dave Lambert (Minimalistix) Both cd’s are compiled by the 3 Saturday residents Phill, Dave Lambert (Minimalistix) and Bart Maes.

This compilation tries to be different as it’s aiming to bring ‘Clubbers’ of all sorts together, from Trance Lovers to Groovy Folks.
