Roxane, a new face of the Mostiko label, gained musical experience in the past as a female singer with the so called act Spirit. Love’s gonna save me became a Belgian hit but the success couldn’t be repeated.

Roxane: I wanna dance with somebody is a song with which I can proof my skills as a white girl with a black soul. The song was recorded in the DLM studio and produced by Decoy (Danny Van Wauwe) and Mon ‘S Jegers both involved in projects like boss@nova, Nord Vs Bonka and several more.

Milk Inc. succeeded in entering the charts again @ number 10 for the second time in a row. They will play shows at Belfast, Bolton and Bury. But they will also film an interview for Boxtalk and do a charity show @ Gateshead for Children in Need. This all to support the release of Walk on Water in the UK that entered the charts @ number 10 this week.

Milk Inc. will also join the UK Smash Hits Tour, starting October 27th. Details are available in the tourlist. During this tour, they will play all arena shows in the major cities.

Raft, a Belgium-based house duo has released its new single in the UK named Riskytrains.

RAFT is a versatile Belgium-based production outfit combining the musicalsensibilities and programming talents of James Lehmann (lifelong funkdisciple, DJ and studio-head) and Matthias Locker (trained classical pianistconverted to jazz musician). James, who is of Scottish origin and Matthias,who was born in Vienna, have both lived in Brussels for more than ten yearsand met via the Belgian live music scene. RAFT fuse a wide range ofinfluences and collaborate with talented pool of instrumentalists andsingers to create uniquely appealing and melodic house grooves. The music iscreated in their own project studio in the heart of Brussels which includesa Mac/Logic setup, Rhodes keyboard, percussion, vintage synths and othercreative tools. Lehmann and Locker are equally at home in the studiowriting, producing and engineering, or on stage DJ-ing and playing keyboardswith a number of jazz/funk/R&B bands throughout northern Europe.

Ian Van Dahl has won the award of Best PA of The Year in the UK on the 9th of september. (PA = Performance Artists or Public Appearance)

The single Reason was released on September 9th 2002 in Germany while the new single Try will be released on September 30th 2002 in the UK. IVD will also perform on the Smashhits tour in the UK
