Last year, Dave Clarke created a great I love Techno mix. This year < ahref="http://www.myspace.com/boysnoize" target="blank"> Boys Noize has an altogether different take on the world of electronics as he gives us a raucous dancefloor assault that will have this year?s strong crowd hanging from the rafters of Ghent?s Flanders Expo. Music Is The New Religion is taken from The Subs forthcoming debut album Subculture that is to be released at the end of this month. Subculture will include all the biggest tracks from The Subs such as Kiss My Trance, Papillon and ‘Fuck That Shit.
This weekend (11/10) you can party with The Subs at Petrol in Antwerp, next week (18/10) they host a release party for their album at Culture Club Ghent.

The well known club Illusion is celebrating its 21st birthday in style and off course this deserves a new compilation. Illusion The 21st Anniversary Edition was mixed by the 2 best residents of Illusion, DJ Wout (Sylver, Illusion, DeLite) for the trance compilation and Christophe (The Hype, Illusion) for the groove-electro compilation. The compilation incldes Armin van Buuren, Filterheadz, DJ Tatana, Axwell and Dirty South, Jerry Ropero, John Dahlback, Phunk Investigation and Energy 52.

Soulwax (or 2manyDjs, whatever you prefer) have provided us with a great remix of MGMTs Kids and now there are rumors that they are behind Fake Bloods Mars, which undoubtedly was one of the festival tracks this summer. We’ll keep you posted.

The Oh 15 year

The biggest jump/hardhouse-club of Belgium celebrates it?s 15th Birthday. October 31st 2008 a giant party will take place at Kortrijk Expo. A new compilation will be launched, with the best hardhouse-tracks of the moment. The release of this CD will be supported by the biggest campaign ever for a The Oh!-cd. One dance diva after another graces the cover of P-magazine . This time it is the turn of Sylvie De Bie lead singer of Sylver. She talks about her very close friendship with Linda of Milk Inc. (denying the rumors that they have a relationship), her daughter Noor and Sylver’s next single and album. Check out the great pictures! Although Sylvie describes herself as shy, you will not notice it in this photoshoot. We can’t wait for the new video.

You might have heard this track on a Festival near you, or listened to it on Dr. Lektroluvs compilation, but now Mars has been released as a single. This first original single by Fake Blood is a real gem and deserves a place in your collection.

Next to his album Imagine, Armin van Buuren – the number 1 DJ of the world – releases a Best Of exclusively for Belgium and Luxemburg (in shops now).

You might wonder what’s up with our favorite electro-pop-trash (take your pick) duo Vive La Fete ? Well, they are alive and kicking … in Brazil. Els and Danny had a very busy week promoting the tour, doing a gig in the local Fnac and even shooting a commercial. Check out their site for some great clips.
