This week P-magazine brings you an extensive interview with Pat Krimson, the man behind 2 Fabiola. He talks about his life on Ibiza and his plans for the future (including the new Pat Krimson song Colours, which will be released soon). The interview gives us on interesting perspective on Pat who calles himself “as good a DJ as any other DJ in Europe” (:p). He also refers to Regi (Milk Inc.) in the interview, saying that he gave him a little push in the industry and that Regi has taken a lot from the sound of Pat. So get P-magazine and read it for yourself.

Sylver is rumoured to be releasing their new single on September 18, 2008. The track will be called I hate you now and is the first single from the new album, which is expected to be called Resurrection. Although the album was first scheduled for an October release, it now appears to be postponed until January 2009, when it will be released right after the second – still untitled- single.

Sideline : Rez

What do you get when you mix great music with great visuals and simple but addictive gameplay? A classic named Rez. Originally created by Sega in 2001, Rez has lost little to nothing of its beauty and genius. Even if you’re no fan of games, you should check out the tracks and the visuals of the game (maybe you’ll get some inspiration ;)). Ken Ishii contributed to the soundtrack, but all tracks deserve a place in your library (if you can find them).

  • Keiichi Sugiyama – Buggie Running Beeps 01
  • Mist – Protocol Rain
  • Ken Ishii – Creation the State of Art (Full Option)
  • Joujouka – Rock Is Sponge
  • Adam Freeland – Fear*
  • Coldcut & Tim Bran – Boss Attacks (Remix)
  • EBZ – F6 G5
  • Oval – Octaeder 0.1.
  • Ken Ishii – Creative State
  • Oval – P-Project

In it’s 8th week, Forever is still the number 1 album in Belgium. With a host of hit singles and sold-out concerts in the pocket, Milk Inc is definitely dominating the commercial dance scene here in Belgium.

Well, I used to love my Sega mastersystem, but I never knew I would get this out of it’s soundchip: 8-bit fun. It can be hard, it can be cheerful, but it is never dull. We recently visited an 8 bit-party in Hasselt and loved what we heard. If you want a taste, check out Sabrepulse’s myspace website on myspace.com/sabrepulse or Henry Homesweet’s profile.

For all of you living in the UK, watch out: Soulwax will play a free show in London on Friday night (August 22), although the venue details have yet to be announced.

Fans can head to Myspace.com/secretshowsuk to get details of how to get free tickets to the show and eventually find out the venue details. The show will be part of MySpace’s Secret Show series, which has seen the likes of The Gossip, Primal Scream and Babyshambles play free gigs in the capital.

Kate Ryan did it again … yes, for the second time she appeared on an internationally known website, this time Askmen.com. This week, she was names singer of the week by Askmen.com. Starting an article with ‘Guys, can you really go wrong with a blond-haired Belgian stunner who’s just dying to sing you a sexy tune?’ is sure to make Kate’s day. Perhaps that record deal in the US might not be so far off indeed.
