Lie to me is the debut single of Anneke Van Hooff, the former singer of the Belgian dancegroup TLD (known by their hits Como Te Quiero, Not Alone and Torn Apart). Anneke Van Hooff has now found a new home at recordcompany NEWS after she was dropped by Warner Music

Lie To Me is entirely written & produced by Regi Penxten (producer of Milk Inc., Sylver, Jessy, Trancelucent…). The new single will be released on cd single November 22th.

Jan Vervloet is working on new material to be released on Peter Luts Nitrox label. Meanwhile, a new vinyl will be released in the near future with 2005 remixes of the original 1994 track Jopan // Ghost – one of Jan’s favourite records

The vinyl will contain the following mixes: A1 Jan Vervloet remix / A2 Original 1994 mix / B DJ Ghost & Danny C remix.

Yesterday,I love techno took place in Ghent. 35,000 people partied in several rooms and listened to diverse sets played by the biggest DJ’s. The event went pretty smooth,except for a short disturbance during the Prodigy set when the stage became unstable and had to be fixed. Dancevibes was there and listened to Felix Da Housecat, The Prodigy and Miss Kittin … Be sure to visit I love techno next year if you were unable to go this year!

Ian Van Dahl‘s newest single Inspiration will be released on cdsingle tomorrow in Belgium. The international releases will happen between november and february. Lasgo and Ian Van Dahl will do an Australian tour in February!

On the 14th of November 2004, DJExpo 2004 will take place in Eindhoven (the Netherlands). This event provides hands-on access to the technology and equipment used to create today’s Dance music via artist presentations and demos, masterclasses and workshops (eg. DJ beatmixing)

On November 10th, the new Simi Nah album Cherchez la Femme will officially be released and presented in Belgium!

Simi Nah was born in Nice in the south of France, where she spent most of her childhood. After going to Paris where she became passionate about music she went to Amsterdam to finally arrive in Belgium in the end. Simi Nah is best known as singer of Praga Khan in the 1998-1999 period (she did performances at Marktrock Leuven 1998 & 1999, Rock Werchter 1999, Tokyo 1999, …) In 2002 she collaborated with Svenson & Gielen on a few songs on their album The beauty of silence

Now she’s back with her own album Cherchez la Femme, produced by Kenny, a mix of English & French, Electro & Pop! More info (tracklisting, …) soon!

Word up is the new single by 711 Feat. Monday Midnite – a cooperation between DJ Serge Ramaekers and Monday Midnite. Serge Ramakers is very well known as (co)producer of the Confetti’s, T-Spoon, Orion Too and others. Monday Midnite first commercial success was with DJ Da Rick – Rumble (1999). Later that year he also worked together with Technotronic to produce Like This.

Word up is a cover of the 1986 hit by Cameo. It’ll be released in 2 weeks time on ARS Productions in Belgium and Italy. Scandinavian countries, France, Germany and Austria have also already showed interest to release the single too!
