Sunday, November 14 2004 Eindhoven will be hosting the big European “DJ & Dance” expo : DJExpo2004. More information can be found on www.djexpo.nl.

DJExpo allows you to see and try out all latest developments in the dance scene (talking to insiders, participating in workshops, trying out the latest software and so on …). DJExpo is organized for all companies and professionales involved in the Dance scene. However, DJExpo is also a major music exchange where you can try and buy new music. So be there.

A new Club will open in Hasselt (Kanaalkom) from September 11th on. It’s called The Mixx. Peter Luts will become a resident DJ in the upperlevel where he plays mainly electro and groove. In the main room all styles will be played.

In other news Peter told us that the new Lasgo album is almost finished. Afterwards Peter Luts will concentrate on producing new clubtracks and developing his DJ career.

Versuz states that ‘A Compilation CD is a logical progression in our quest of bringing happiness to the people!’ So lets check whether they have succeeded in doing so. This second edition of Mixmania 2004 is once again packed with all the hits that have charted during the last few months, including some big number 1 hits. So first the good news, there are some really great songs on this CD : Xandee’s 1 Life is one of those big hits. Topping the charts for many weeks, this commercial dance track was Belgium’s high hope for the Eurovision Song contest.
