Dance music news

As we already reported last month, Lô is a new project by L-Vee that started 10 months ago. While lots of people love his trancy sound (eg. Fire & Ice, Airwave), Lô is something completely different. Quoting L-Vee himself, it’s some kind of ‘futuristic-electo-pop-rock’ written, composed, produced and sung by L-Vee.

Lô’s track Sa vie en main has been picked up by Radio Contact (in the french part of Belgium) and will be played 4 times a day! Negotiations with recordlabels are still going on but things are looking bright so we may expect Sa vie en main to be released in the future! dancevibes will keep you updated offcourse!

Danzel is doing great in France. They are now at #12 in the Official French CD singles chart which makes them the best selling dance single in the charts.

Next friday, March 19, the second edition of Phenomena will be held in Leuven (Rumba & Co). This time, Massimo & Angel will provide you with all the grooves you need in the main room, while Monsieur Autruche will fulfil your needs in the upper room.

Phenomena is quickly becoming one of Leuven’s finest clubbing events, so make sure to be there. More information can be found at www.phenomena.be. The party starts at 11:00 and those who come before 12:00 will get a free drink. The dancevibes crew will be there, and so should you.

As we already reported on February 12th the next Ian Van Dahl single is called Where are you now? (some other sites really do you use the word exclusive too much). Three vinyls have now been released for the DJs. Part 1 contains the Extended mix and Peter Luts remix. Part 2 contains the M.I.K.E remix and the G&M remix while Part 3 contains the Red Carpet Vox remix and Red Carpet Dub remix.

While browsing the Mostiko site we found some great Jessy news!

The next Jessy single How Long will, after some delays, finally be released on March 29th. A month later the full album Rain will be in the shops too!

Roxane’s Television Game will be available in all Belgian shops at the end of next week, the official release date is the 22th of March but as you know most shops have got it already Thursday or Friday before the official release date.

Mostiko posted the video of Television Game on their site. The video features a nice guest role by Marcel Van Tilt (ex MTV presenter, Musical Pioneer with Arbeid Adelt and one of the funniest and honest Belgian TV personalties there still are). The video itself was shot in an IKEA shop.

Evi from Lasgo

Last night in Miami the Belgian danceformation Lasgo has won their second award @ the International Dance Music Awards.

Last year Lasgo won the Best New Dance Artist Group-award.

This year they’ve won in the category Best Hi-Energy / Euro with their song Alone.

In the UK Lasgo’s new single Surrender entered the Cool Cut charts at #1 and the Buzz charts at #3. The UK Single release is planned on April 19th.

At the end of March, a new club will open its doors in Antwerp. The club’s name is Portsite and it’ll use the ‘Beau Zoo’ buildings. More info will be announced later!

Producers Pat Krimson and Andres Romero have released a new single called Las Vegas. Las Vegas uses vocal samples from Praga Khan’s Breakfast in Vegas. On the CD single you can find the Radio edit, the Waco Saxo mix and the Z.O.M.T.A mix

Co-producer Andres told us that new vocal Nunca tracks are most probably also coming our way too in the future 🙂 (I’m sure everybody remembers the great House of Doom club mix!)
