Lasgo has been nominated two times at this years WMC International Dance Music Awards 2004. They are nominated with the track Alone in the category Best Hi NRG/Euro Track and as group in the Best dance group category. For a list of all nominees, click here.

Last year Lasgo won the award Best New Dance Artist Group 2002 @ the International Dance Music Awards 2003. It clearly shows that Lasgo stays one of the most popular Belgian groups in the US. One has to wonder when they will be recognized by a Zamu Award in Belgium…

Although Club Illusion is still closed due to the drugsrazzia held in June 2003 the whole crew has moved to Club Mystique in Turnhout which was opened a few weeks ago. The concept is the same as in Illusion: the ground level with trance, hardtrance, retro and the ‘Level’ with the best groovy tracks.

This compilation CD contains offcourse groovy ‘Level’ tracks as the name already says. We’re looking forward to this release as we were very pleased with The level vol 1 in the past.

Je Chante pour Toi was Biba Binoche’s entry for the 2004 Belgian Eurosong tryouts. Although Biba did not make it to the finals – despite a great show which featered the drag queen Star – Mostiko has decided to release Je Chante pour Toi as a single. And that is definitely a good decision. After all, as a result of all the commotion (a music journalist who was part of the jury launched a very personal and wholly undeserved attack on Biba just after her performance), one might forget that Je Chante pour Toi is a very good electro single.
