We have put up a new artist profile on dancevibes. Lasposa is a pretty new commercial trance act with singer Tanja. Their first release One to one did not do well in the charts (due to no airplay) but is nevertheless a nice commercial trance song.

Yesterday, the TMF awards were held. Milk Inc won the award for best dance (national), while Sylver won the award for best video (the excellent video for their smash single Why Worry). For Milk Inc this was the 7th TMF Award to date. After being nominated for 4 years, Sylver finally managed to win their first award. Congratulations Sylver and Milk Inc!

The show itself was opened by Evy (Lasgo), Linda (Milk Inc) and Silvy (Sylver) with a great performance of ‘Insomnia’ by Faithless… Other danceacts also included Lasgo (who performed their new single Surrender and the golden debutsingle Something), Sylver, Milk Inc, The Underdog project, Tiësto and Moloko.

After all, on the 6th of October, N.E.W.S. will be releasing its I LOVE TECHNO 2003 DVD. I love techno is one of Europe’s most exciting techno events. The DVD gives you a perfect view of the atmosphere of this remarkable event.

The DVD is packed with special goodies, interviews by Marco Bailey with the dj’s, scenes from the different venues, backstage images, VIP images, the buildup and cleanup, bloopers etc, etc, and last but not least, you will find all video’s of the I LOVE TECHNO anthems including the latest one by Stanny Franssen.

Café d’Anvers is celebrating its 14th birthday next weekend by organizing a party weekend (October 10 – 11 – 12). During these nights a number of international DJ’s will make their appearance in the club. There will be lots of surprises, special performances, and so on.
